I like cool wine labels. It's funny that you are a late Pisces. Most things call me a Taurus, but I am so NOT. Maybe you are a cusp person that's actually the other thing, like me.
I haven't tried 'em either, but I would, just for the labels.
I like The Green Stone Woman's idea to have a wine party and each guest brings one with a funny label, then have a taste test. By the last one we wouldn't care what it tasted like I'm guessing.
A weird wine label party sounds like an excellent idea to me, too. I would assume the last 2 are Californian or maybe BC wines. I'm going to look around now and see if I can find them or any other peculiar wine labels. (wel...not NOW.. next time I'm out)
I like different wine labels, some of the pretentious wines don't appeal but I like those ones. Funny isn't it, we're told not to judge a book by its cover but often if a wine label doesn't appeal we don't try the wine! :-) Having said that, there is a wine we can get here called Cat's Pee on a Gooseberry Bush, which I have tried and it's not too bad!
Irene: you'd be surprised what you can find over your way. The first one is French.
Geewits: I can get so easily distracted in the liquor store as I wander the aisles seeking something differnt and finding so many unusual and cool labels. And yeah, I often find the daily horoscope for Aries fits more than Pisces for me (if I were to read daily horoscopes...)
Ruth: that is a great idea - everyone bring a new, untried bottle with a cool label.
Jazz: I am so into the superficial - cool label, must be cool wine (sometimes it actually works out that way!)
Susan: I'm here to make you laugh... and entice you into drinking. why is your poor head hurting?
XUP: enjoy your hunt for the different and interesting, the labels have gotten much more entertaining the last few years. (the last two are Californian.)

Love that first one. I have always liked the Papio label, but a glass of that stuff friend the motherboard on my previous laptop! Never trust a monkey.
It would be fun to have a bunch of friends over and to try these. I wonder where you can get them? Nowhere as far away as here, I bet.
