A Christmas Postcard (unused) with bright gold highlights for Postcard Friendship Friday
I have already visited an elderly friend and delivered a Christmas present of gluten-free cupcakes which she happily shared with me while we drank tea and talked of family comings and goings over the past year.
A nice thing to do at this, or any, time of year.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Happy PFF!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely, thoughtful message--I adore these. Thank you so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteA Merry Christmas and happy PFF!
What a sweet message on the card! Happy PFF!
ReplyDeleteThat was nice of you.
ReplyDeleteBut "shut-in" - seems to be just rubbing it in.
it is one of those evocative phrases that have thankfully been removed from our every day language
DeleteWas there a special reason to get gluten free cupcakes? Everybody seems to be eating gluten free these days.
ReplyDeleteyes, she was finally diagnosed with celiac disease when when was in her late 80s, so has had to suddenly change her whole diet. She doesn't really need much, so for birthdays and Christmas food seems the most beneficial present.
DeleteThis is a great postcard. I've never seen one using the phrase "Shut-In".
