paperless

Does this qualify as poor housekeeping?

Having a houseguest over and running out of toilet paper.
Putting in a box of tissues

then running out of that as well.

Seriously
can I call myself an adult?

As my houseguest pointed out: the litter box is just under the sink.

She's great. She'll be invited back.

Maybe she'll bring her own stash next time.

  1. I'm pretty sure a good houseguest is supposed to bring her own TP.

  4. I feel closer to you than ever! LOL This is exactly how we manage our home. But a good guest rolls with the punches and looks to pages from old magazines, leaves off the plants, etc.

note to self: redecorate loo with broadleaf plants and bad novels...

maybe I need one of those Japanese toilets that spray, flush, sing all by itself...

  7. You could have bluffed your way through it by telling her you ran a “green” household and didn’t believe in wasting paper. Then you hand her an old rag and tell her that’s hers to use until her visit is up and that it will be washed and recycled. David Suzuki would be proud

Maybe Mr Dyson could help us out with this, too??

  9. You could be like Sheryl Crow and tell your guests they can use one square each potty session.

  11. YOu could take a lesson from the outhouse era, and stock up on big Sears catalogues.

  12. citizen: Yes, we actually joked about that! Here, it was the Eaton's catalogue, which sadly is no more. What a waste of historical archival material.

  13. I guess this is how you find out who your true friends are - if they point to litter boxes under the sink. Great story. :)
