More on the pigs that were decorated and scattered around Bath.
They were cute and life-size and colourful. And brought a smile to pretty much everyone who came across them.
I made it an enjoyable mission to find as many as I could.
King Bladud's Pigs
I love this! I think it's a great way to encourage tourism. It's creative, fun, it allows people to take pics, comment on them, meet people. I love it.
ReplyDeleteOf course, I love Bath too. I only spent a day there but loved it, totally loved it.
I had a medical appt in Bath this afternoon and spotted 3 of these lovely piggies on my drive in. Couldn't take any pics as I was driving but they certainly made my drive more interesting.

UA: Exactly. I talked to several people as we were taking our pics, or overhearing exclamations of "Oh look there's a pig...". And had they not been there I wouldn't have looked UP as much!!
ReplyDeleteMA: Do try to get in for the final showing on oct 18/19, if you're able, where they'll all be together at the Queen Sq. That should be fun, I'd think. Maybe they'll be sharing stories of their various locations?! I didn't know you could buy miniatures, until I read the bumf afterwards.
ooohhhhh will definitely try and get there in Oct!! Have put it in the diary.
