SundayStills - sunrise

Working nights, I have become acutely aware that the sun is rising later and later. And we haven't had any spectacular views over the past couple of weeks, until last Friday at 5 am. I still had one building left to deliver, which would have taken less than 10 minutes, but I decided to make those early morning people wait a little longer for their newspaper while I ran down to the waterfront to capture this.

  1. That is so beautiful, especially the orange light reflecting off the water. What a gorgeous place to live in to have sunrises like that!

Are those birds in the foreground? Look geese-like to me!

  11. Such beauty. I envy you those gorgeous views. Whenever I go outside to photograph the sunset, all the power lines get in the way. And I never get to see the sunrise, as there are hills and houses in the way. (And I get up too late.)

  15. Even reading back in your blog a bit, I don't know why you're delivering newspapers at 5 am. But I'm most impressed that you do. And taking splendid photos.
