We just popped in to Candies of Merritt this afternoon and picked up a small box of dark chocolate with soft fillings for Christmas day, some horehound and some peanut brittle. OMG!!!!!!!!
You are a strong, principled woman. How noble of you to eat the chocolates first and enjoy the lovely bowl afterward! A tough job, but someone had to do it - good on you!
That certainly s a lovely bowl. It in itself would have made a good present, never mind that it was filled with chocolates. Now you do know that those are bad for you, don't you?
I agree, the bowl or the chocolates would have been enough. This was from a client who was very generous. And I refuse to believe that chocolate is ever bad for you. Unless it is cheap chocolate (which will give me a headache for the empty calories)

This is lovely. Glass objects can be so very beautiful, and the light enhances it so much.
