  1. These pics always remind me of the lolcat bible translation. Were you reading my blog when I posted about that? It's really bizarre.

  2. Hi Violet

Now I do a lot of 'downward facing dog' poses in my classes...

this would be the backwards facing cat pose I take it?

are you proficient at this one?

  3. I am surprised that cats need to relax even more than they normally do.

  4. The thing is cats relax so well they can leap into action at any time.
I can pull a muscle just watching.

  6. I wish I could stretch out like that. It seems so comfortable and healthy. I envy that cat.

  7. Cats are almost boneless, I think -- like when you try to pick one up without him wanting you to pick him up...he either hangs there like a bag of jello or twists himself in 14 different directions at once so you can't hold on to him.

  8. I think I must search your archives geewits.

Delwyn, I am neither proficient at downward dog nor backwards cat - but thanks for thinking I might be. I am more like Bandobras!

LGS, all this practice is what makes it look so effortless. And I agree, XUP, what with their bizarre body curls.

Cats always look comfortable, don't they, Irene? And I'm glad it brought you a smile Char.

  9. neither of my cats could muster up the energy to do that, I take it that they would have to actually move more than a whisker at a time?

  10. Now that is lazy, Sagittarian. Even my cat can do this without wakening up.

  14. My yoga instructor used to always use a cat as an example of how to relax, Lola. So, yes, Berni and Naturegirl, I think it does work!
