some colourful cast iron teapots found at the market
which just might blend in well with these houses in the Beach area of TorontoThese would be more vibrant on a better sunlit day, but this was a quick drive by shot before the rains came down.
for more colours see SundayStills
I love the Beach area -- even back when it was The Beaches. I wonder if I could afford to live there these days? The pots are very cool. Did you get one?
ReplyDeleteXUP: It was so hard to type The Beach - I still call it The Beaches.
ReplyDeleteAnd no you probably could not afford to live there now.
I did buy one of the teapots, but it had to be cropped out of this photo. I'm sure I'll post it another time.

ReplyDeleteThe teapots are adorable, if I may say that about a teapot. I need one, so I am especially alert for a good one.
ReplyDeleteThe houses look very well out of my price range, but I wouldn't mind having one. Though in a kinder climate.

ReplyDeleteThis is a great combination of muted shades. I've never seen such detailed paintwork on buildings. Canadian panache!
ReplyDeleteYour teapot picture is beautiful! It has been steadily cloudy, drizzly, and rainy here too...it is starting to drive me nuts!
ReplyDeleteLovely choice for the challenge, colorful in a very peaceful kind of way:)
