SundayStills - tri colour

some colourful cast iron teapots found at the market

which just might blend in well with these houses in the Beach area of TorontoThese would be more vibrant on a better sunlit day, but this was a quick drive by shot before the rains came down.

  1. I love the Beach area -- even back when it was The Beaches. I wonder if I could afford to live there these days? The pots are very cool. Did you get one?

  2. XUP: It was so hard to type The Beach - I still call it The Beaches.

And no you probably could not afford to live there now.

I did buy one of the teapots, but it had to be cropped out of this photo. I'm sure I'll post it another time.

  6. The teapots are adorable, if I may say that about a teapot. I need one, so I am especially alert for a good one.

The houses look very well out of my price range, but I wouldn't mind having one. Though in a kinder climate.

  12. Your tea pot shot is fantastic. There is something about tea pots that has got to be archtypical - I find them immensely appealing.

  16. Quinn: I was so disappointed that the clouds and rain came in so suddenly. If we have this challenge again I will have better photos. Aren't they great?!

  23. I love the teapots. My sister carries them at her store and you're right, they are pricey. Needless to say, I don't own one.

  24. This is a great combination of muted shades. I've never seen such detailed paintwork on buildings. Canadian panache!
