OOoh no, I bought the wrong house! What an amazing view! (if it would stand in California, so that's my only comfort - I'm not ready to move so much more North:) )
I couldn't find the price on the website, Sagittarian, but yes, I bet it is pricey. Not so fast, Susan, there is a serious downside to this house - it sits right on the Bruce Trail and has thousands of walkers going past their property every day (as you can imagine).
But we are only at the same latitude as ROME, Jeannette, it may seem far north, it's not really.
That is the city of Hamilton off in the distance, Geewits, so yes, there would be some lights.
Gilly, see you wouldn't even need to leave your yard to get a magnificent view!
Sadly, the ocean is very far away, Delwyn, that is just an overcast sky. There is a lake way off to the top left, but the escarpment is blocking the view of it.
Love the view not crazy about the house. I don't like the trees so close it makes it dark. I was thinking how nice it would be to be in Ontario or New York this time of year just the other day, the colours are so spectacular.
Wow! I bet the view is beautiful at any time of the year but autumn is spectacular!...The view from my daughter's deck is similar in a small scale way...looking downhill over lots of trees...
It's amazing what a difference a few miles makes. We have almost no leaves left on our trees. Unfortunately we don't even get spring before you guys as a consolation
Breath-taking! Aren't those autumn colours gorgeous...I love them. I bet that house would be a tad pricey??
ReplyDeleteOoooh, I want you to buy that house so I can come and visit in Autumn! Buy a lottery ticket!

ReplyDeleteThat is truly gorgeous. Would there be lights at night on the plain in the distance? I love that, too.
ReplyDeleteOh how wonderful! I'm on my way to make an offer ;)
ReplyDelete(Sighs heavily)
Hi Violet
ReplyDeleteis that the ocean in the distance?
Happy days

But think of all the new friends you could make!
ReplyDeleteRight. Always thinking positively, Susan!! I could put 'my bench' at the end of the wealkway.
ReplyDeleteYa, it's a cute house and a pretty view, but it doesn't hold a candle to our French villa with the view of the Mediterranean.
ReplyDeleteOh, wow!
ReplyDeleteActually, XUP I went to the website for a virtual tour and the house is very dated - and not in a good way like our villa will be.
ReplyDeleteI KNOW, Mama Zen!!
WOOOOW! A lovely lovely dramatic view! Snap that one up, right away!
ReplyDeleteYou can always remodel. The view and setting are spectacular.
ReplyDeleteLove the view not crazy about the house. I don't like the trees so close it makes it dark. I was thinking how nice it would be to be in Ontario or New York this time of year just the other day, the colours are so spectacular.
ReplyDeleteLocation, Location, Location! :) I think the view is rather spectacular!
ReplyDeleteAwwww!
ReplyDeleteThat's it!!
I'm packing!!!
What a gorgeous view, shame about the thousands of hikers passing by.
ReplyDeleteOne should always go house-hunting on a rainy day. If you can stand the view on that day, you can stand it at any time. Here you could.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a beautiful view and the house looks like a perfect little comfy place to enjoy the beauty!
ReplyDeleteI like all of it . . . the clean lines of the house, the view (which rivals my own :-P) . . . but not the people passing by. Nunh-uh.
ReplyDeleteWow! I bet the view is beautiful at any time of the year but autumn is spectacular!...The view from my daughter's deck is similar in a small scale way...looking downhill over lots of trees...
ReplyDeleteStunning!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure someone will, Naomi. And yes, SAW the remodelling is the least of it - who would be looking inside anyway?!
ReplyDeleteQuite likely it would be dark, Berni and think of all that raking...
Rather spectacular, yes, Sistertex!
Jientje, stop in on your way home - oh, but by then the colours will be gone.
Diane, yes, the steady of hikers would be annoying, though maybe no more than living on a busy street.
ReplyDeleteGood advice, RuneE.
And it looks like a nice little community, too, Martha.
I agree June, the lines of the house suit the land very well.
Yes, it is always a stunning view, Oliag and Meggie.
Beautiful view and autumn colors. Have a nice sunday!
ReplyDeleteThe last shot is just stunning. Perfect for Sunday Stills. :):)
ReplyDeleteStrange looking house, but man W.O.W.what a view!!!!
ReplyDeletewow fantastic views...
ReplyDeletenice house indeed.

ReplyDeleteWow, that would be amazing to wake up to every day.
