You'll never believe this, but it snowed all day - a first! And it was so bad we had to turn around and come back home. It was an historical event and quite an adventure. I'll post about it later. Enjoy your tea!
Just stopping by to wish you a Very Merry Christmas, my dear! I hope Santawill bring you all that your Heart desires! (Love that shortbread...and sorry to read about the Rain....)
Update: no freezing rain afterall - indeed it was 8C (that would be 46.4F for you in the US) overnight and is at the moment 6C. Still raining though. Still no snow. I miss the snow. Yes, I really do. Shortbread all gone but more Christmas fare later today!
Well, there's was lots of rain down in the southern end of the province, but when we got home yesterday everything was covered in ice and snow. Only in Ottawa. (PS: I'm having tea and chocolate cookies for breakfast..tee hee)
Shortbread and tea, yum!
ReplyDeleteYeah, we have rain in the forecast, too. Bummer. But Marry Christmas, anyway.
ReplyDeleteI would like to have a little snow, but probably not freezing rain.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely Christmas!
Merry, merry Christmas, dear Sanna! I hope you stay safe and warm in your little nest...and drink a cup of tea and nibble a little shortbread for me!
ReplyDelete((hugs))

Just caught up with all your Christmassy posts! And as a Scottish bint, I must admit that shortbread makes me feel right at home!

Tea and shortbread works. Here it is sunny today.

Yummy shortbread. I'm making gateau basque for the first time, which I think is shortbready too.
ReplyDeleteHappy Christmas, my friend.
