SundayStills - clouds

We have had lots of sunshine and a few puffy white clouds
and some of these clouds that indicate a change in the weather - and a resultant drop in temperature and decrease in humidity (at least for the weekend!)

and a soft, gentle sunset

but mostly we've had heat and haze... which is expected to return tomorrow, after the rain today. sigh.

  1. I don't envy you the heat and humidity - it's so draining. Never mind, it will be Christmas soon, judging by the catalogues I've received ;-)

  2. These shots are lovely. It's been entirely too hot and humid here this summer. The hottest summer on record for E. Tennessee. :)

  4. I love cloud pics! I would really like to take a picture of a thunderstorm clouds running in before it starts pouring. We've been getting lots of bad storms here lately and it would be nice to capture the beauty before the storm!

  5. Luckily, the heat and humidity are all gone here and we are left with cool temperatures and some rain. I hope you get some of that too.

  6. Not much humidity here but definitely heat...lots of heat! But I refuse to complain...I love it!! The flowers, the blue skies and the summer rains. All fabulous!
And it sure beats the freezing temps and the SNOW!!!
    Beautiful photos!

  7. Can't beat cloud pictures. Have you hear of the Cloud Appreciation Society? They publish gorgeous photos.

You can have some of our weather if you like: rain, 14 degrees Celsius! Don't envy your humidity one bit though.

  8. The weekend was wonderful temperature-wise! Maybe the truly horrid humidity is over for this year...maybe, I said. :)

  9. The forecast is above 90 every day this week as we work our way to a record-breaking summer. Too hot! But I'll still take it over cold.

  10. The humidity definitely isn't a lot of fun, especially at night. I love summer and I love heat and I even prefer humidity over winter and snow, but it's really not necessary to my enjoyment of summer
