Monday AMuse

I saw this on someone's (sorry, I forget whose) blog last week and remembered that I had a copy bookmarked for my own enjoyment!

So, as a way of remembering our friends in New Zealand this week, I present this as a response to any other natural disasters.

  1. Good grief! I prefer the real thing! Those gingerbread men are not nearly scary enough.

  2. Cute but not scary so as persiflage said, the real thing is better. Besides I believe the women would prefer to smell the testosterone from sweaty hunky Kiwi men than the smell of gingerbread. Hmmmm. Actually, I am feeling a little hungry now.

  3. Persiflage: well, not terribly scary -but you don't think this was a funny commercial?

    Nora: I thought it was!

LGS: hmm, gingerbread man or the Old Spice man...?

  4. That is so funny. And in light of what has recently happened, anything that can provide a laugh is no doubt appreciated.

  5. Hah, thanks for a good giggle! Not sure I'll ever be able to look at a gingerbread man in the same way!

  6. I love this! We have just watched the demolitian of a Hotel we owned for 2 years, 27 years ago. It was the Famous Grouse Hotel, which was known as the Lincoln Hotel when we had it. It is rather sad to see our past being destroyed.

  8. Oh Meggie - that's very interesting that you had the old Grouse Hotel for a while... I was so sad to see it coming down, too.
Now, if we have to choose between gingerbread man and Old Spice Man, Old Spice Man wins hands down... "Look back to me..."
