autumn

Autumn in Finland. Each year, Finland issues fall themed stamps.
These timely ones both arrived this week - and neither one was cancelled!

I couldn't find anything about the artist or designer of these fall themed stamps from 2013.

  4. Stamps from Finland are always really stunning. Our postman draws a line with pen through any uncancelled stamps, even those from overseas. I think I'd prefer them left clean if not cancelled properly.

  5. How beautiful!
I would really love to get a letter with the first one. It is perfect in scenery, light and color.

  6. Those are pretty stamps, but I think they are an awkward size to use.

  7. Must have been a fun tour of trees. As the Irish might say, "Sorry about the weather." But you still got good photos.

  8. These are gorgeous and capture the season so beautifully. I think non cancelled stamps are on the increase. When I'm the benign dictator of the world I will insist on neatly cancelled stamps:-)
I had a squint at the miniature sheet scan on stampworld.com and it gives the designer as Emil Bertell,

  9. I didn't realise Finland did this every year. Beautiful, of course, as they always are from Finland.
