We run and run, trying to get away
Sometimes, Life is the fun
we run and run to keep up
and when we reach the finish line
it should be with a joyous smile and laughter and a feeling of pride.

ReplyDeleteVioletSky, it was soooo nice to see you there! I felt so good going in, strong and confident. All these months of training (been training since early December) paid off big time. I reached my goal!

ReplyDeleteI' not a runner - infact, if I miss a bus I just wait for the next one...BUT lots of people enjoy it and doing marathons is never easy so good on you for being a good friend.

Like you, Ed, I prefer to walk leisurely with camera in hand.
Love your running shots; my sis did her first half marathon last year with two friends. Go sis! (You'll never catch me running, I don't enjoy it at all!)

great photos.. in the first one I started o think it was another 'funny' post with teh walking sign! Good on them, I don't run, but I did power walk a marathon a few years back which was great fun!
