That is a seriously, seriously gorgeous photo. You should hire yourself out as a food photographer -- apparantly it's one of the hardest things to photograph properly and those who specialize in arranging and photographing food for magazines and cookbooks and stuff command a good buck.
Mmmmmmmmmm. Now you have me drooling over my keyboard. If I electrocute myself I'm holding you personally responsible
Yum! You have motivated me to make lunch!Sunny :)
gorgeous shot!! love that first oneand it all looks yummy
Um, I'm pretty sure I could consume everything on that plate in one sitting!!! Of course, I probably wouldn't need to eat the rest of the day, but I think I could do it.Food is pretty!
XUP: thank you! I am a little worried this could be beginners luck - so will try again. but yeah, didn't those raspberries come up juicy looking... Jazz: and that butter tart was absolutely divine. I have some left...Sunny: and what could be simpler than some fruit and cheese and a bit of yogourt?Char: thanks, it was!Susan: actually, I pretty much did, except for the tomatoes and the cheese.
I think you ate the little tart first, at least I would have. That is a way cool plate, a way cool board thing and everything on the plate is pure heaven. I just picked up some raspberries yesterday too. And these tomatoes are such good ones, whatever they're called.
Oh yummy! Everything looks wonderful, but what is in that little square pastry tart? How lovwely to have a market nearby!
Ruth: of course I did!! The last of the "home bred" eggs...This plate was my latest Fire-King aquisition.
Gilly: farmers markets are the best -no matter how small. The pastry is a butter tart - a Canadian specialty. Recipe in next post for anyone who cares.
Life is short - eat dessert first.
Oh Gosh, now I've got to eat, nothing is going to stop me!
Somehow blue plates always make food very pretty...I love this plate...and I have been a lover of Fire King for a long time...I'm certain I would have started with that yummy looking butter tart and I am excited to read that the recipe will be shared!...after the tart I would have finished off the entire plate:)
Mr Nighttime: always :)Irene: sorry!Oliag: I LOVE these new plates - I have no platters and these work well, being so big. I'm now collecting this colour of Fire King!
Glad you stopped by. For anyone who stumbled here, don't be shy to say 'hi' and let me know you've visited!
