Jazz: yes you will, there may be no more going back to summer.
Irene: this came from The Sweater Shop in Scotland which sadly went out of business by the time I arranged to get another sweater the same but in more spring colours.
MA: thanks. I cannot wear this in the spring, it feels wrong.
Ruth: thanks for noticing that - I hadn't at first!
That's something I love about Autumn: it's a comfortable season (time to wear comfy clothes, eat earthy food, etc.) I never miss Summer when it's over as I think we have to appreciate seasonal changes. Nice sweather anyway.
Lovely sweater. I like fall/winter myself more so than the humid days of summer (they suck the life right out of me). I think it's nice to have a lovely and cozy sweater to snuggle into. Of course, when we're in March, I can't wait till I take them off and can walk around in sandals... lol
I am still so far in denial that I haven't even pulled out my winter clothes. I really need to pull them out this weekend.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like it was handmade, Did you do that or a friendly grandmother?
ReplyDeletelovely sweater, i love the autumnal colours. We have had a beautiful crisp sunny day here today.

The colors match your header photo, and that is so pleasing.

It's a lovely sweater. Maybe the secret to enjoying winter is to have a lot of kick-ass winter clothes that you can't wait to get into??

ReplyDeleteXUP and Guillaume: That is it exactly - have lovely warm wooly (or fleecy) things to crawl into and suddenly fall and winter are so worthwhile.
ReplyDeletebtw, thanks for stopping by Guillaume - I look forward to seeing your carved jack-o-lantern!
I haven't even pulled out my sweaters yet (dragging my feet on it because I don't want to admit it's time) but I am wearing long sleeves now.
ReplyDeleteCitizen: I always look forward to this weather - until it gets here, then I think: oh no it's too soon.
