  1. Very cute all-occasion drawing. Reminds me of the chocolate turkeys my daughter's boyfriend brought over for Thanksgiving dinner: I figure he covered Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's Day and Easter with that one!

  2. That would work for me but they left out Mardi Gras. I actually decorated for Mardi Gras this year.

  3. pinklea: not a chance - one still need chocolate for all those other occasions.

geewits: omg, you don't give cards for mardi gras as well, do you?!

  4. Aside from a little seasonal stuff (Indian corn on the door in the fall, daffodils in a vase in the spring), I only decorate for Christmas. Too much trouble for the rest of the little holidays.

  5. I am afraid I am the same as Citizen on the world and it is only christmas I decorate for. And then I go for it - xmas decorations go up on the 1 December and don't come down again til the 12th day. I love my christmas decorations and it is not long before I can get them out and start planning where things are going to go. *signs whistling jingle bells*

  6. I decorated heavily when my son was young but the older I get the more Scrooge-like I become. Bah humbug on all the fripperies related to holidays.

  7. I am being a party pooper and have stopped decorating for all the holidays. I decided that it was driving too many people crazy and I didn't want to be one of them. You should see the agony people go through at holiday time. Well, I'm sure you do. I refuse to do anything traditional and will serve food that I want to fix and is fun and exciting. The only food I will not say no to is chocolate.

  9. citizen: not tomention the storage issues.

MA: don't be 'afraid' - personally, I think the others are completely unnecessary. I never send cards for anything other than birthday and Christmas.

  12. The closest we get to decorating is the "Bugger off" sign we hang on the gate at Halloween.

  13. sagittarian: so I shouldn't bring my cleopatra mask and beg for chocolate from you, then?

  15. I love it! I don't decorate at home, no tree, just a little tiny bit of decoration. I have a very curious cat...
