hanging out in trees

There was a theme to some of the cards received from Postcrossing today...

The top card is of a Norwegian Forest Cat (doesn't he have a lovely mane!) and of course we all recognize the panda with those lovely eyes. But I can't quite identify the bird with the lovely colours. It might be a blue tit?

  1. That cat looks like he'd weigh a fair bit, I like the big white paws.
Bird is beautiful, my favourite with him is the blue on head and that line across his face.
Love pandas, he looks like he's posing for the picture and saying hurry up.
    Have a happy weekend.

    1. I'd not heard of these cats before, but apparently they are quite sturdy guys and have strong claws for climbing trees!

  12. Yes, the tweety-bird is a blue tit. They are teenie and very cute. I hang a feeder of peanuts outside our kitchen window, and sometimes we get five or six blue tits at once fighting over it. Wouldn't want one of those beautiful fluffy cats too close...
