my eyes are resting

I am still kicking around, although you may not have seen much of my presence of late. Work has gotten a bit out of hand. It has zapped me of my wakefulness and energy. And my muse.

Being useful makes me feel good. I usually like being able to help people out. Then there is the asking of help with your deliveries while you are on holidays in Georgia, or North Carolina or wherever, and having the suggested 80 newspapers balloon into 145........ I am exhausted from helping you out.

I fell asleep on the couch with the tv on - again. Actually, the on/off button on the remote is still broken, so the tv is almost always on as I am too lazy to actually wander over to the set and find the little on/off button to turn it off (or unplug it). Anyway, just wondering.... can anybody out there explain the attraction of the Jersey Shore?

I didn't think so.

My eyes need more rest.

  1. We don´t get Jersey Shore here. I guess I´m not missing much. :)
I usually fall asleep in front of the TV too. Luckily my hubby goes to bed after me and shuts it down.
Have a good weekend and rest up!

  2. Wow. Just reading this made me sleepy. I hope you get rested up and get your mojo back.

  3. I don't watch the show, but I hope you are back in form soon!

  4. I don't watch the show, but I hope you are back in form soon!

  5. Work, whats work? Sounds as if youve got life sussed out to me!

  6. It must feel good to be that tired. You work hard. You deserve to fall asleep in front of the TV. Get a new remote control!

  7. I hope work slows down a bit soon!

As for the interest of "Jersey Shore", nope, I can't explain it either. Time is precious so I don't understand why some people watch crap like that all the time.

  8. Betty: don't waste your time on any of the reality show (IMHO)

Geewits: I really, really miss my mojo

SAW: I was curious ... and thanks, I miss you all and wish my brain could form some comment worthy words

  9. Ken: yes, I must admit my life is pretty good - so why do I mess it up by taking on more work??

Nora: strangely, it doesn't feel good - it seems to make me more tired the more I rest.

Pauline: it will by next week when he gets back. all I knew about this show was that it gets talked and written up about a lot, so when it came on I left it on... it is really, really, pointless. the only 'reality' I enjoy is The Amazing Race.

  10. I really don't think there is an explanation for Jersey Shore. I find it mind numbing at best. But obviously someone likes it...they keep showing it.

Glad you stopped by. For anyone who stumbled here, don't be shy to say 'hi' and let me know you've visited!
