Sunday Stamps - hobbies

as with any hobby, one must be creative....

does playing Angry Birds count as a hobby?                                                   how about playing junior hockey?

or building sandcastles?

or how about the I'd Rather Be Sailing in St Lucia idea?

  1. I guess the definition of "hobby" is pretty flexible. Is cooking my hobby? Gardening? Sex?

    3. I have played and it is fun... but I don't get the mass appeal. there are other games that are more fun, I think.

  4. I can't claim to be a junior anymore so I will have to settle for building sandcastles now.Mind you St Lucia might be the place to take it up.

    1. I agree, St Lucia is looking safe right about now. I think it was spared the damaging effects of Sandy.

  5. I keep wondering if there is a difference between a hobby and a pastime. I would be happy with your examples, any of them. :)

    1. interesting question. I think maybe one would devote more time and energy and passion into a hobby. whereas a pastime might be sitting on a beach, a hobby would be building sandcastles while on the beach.
